This panel is owned and operated by one of the most respected companies in market research, Schlesinger Associates.
This site is not accredited by the Better Business Bureau, but it had been given a B+ rating the last time I checked.
There are some great things about this panel, but there are some not so great things too.
Let me lay it all out for you.
How to Start
Signing up with Inspired Opinions is fast and easy. You can get started right from their home page.
Once you start the process they will ask for things like your name, address, and other basic information. This helps them classify you.
For the most part everyone can join this site. The only real requirement is that you are at least 18 years old.
This is one site that will actually accept multiple members from the same household. So, if you and your partner or family members you live with all want to take surveys this is something to keep in mind. Most panels will not allow this.
How They Operate
When you are qualified for a survey Inspired Opinions has two main ways of contacting you.
One of these is by email. If you receive an invitation by email then you can complete the survey when it is convenient for you, but the sooner you act the more likely you are to get in before the survey fills up. Invitations that come by email are for surveys that you take online.
The other way that you may be contacted is by phone. If you are contacted by phone then that is probably how you will take the survey as well.
Phone surveys are one of the unique options that this panel offers. Don’t get the wrong idea though, if you get to take a phone survey you will be able to schedule a time that works for you.
Inspired Opinions is also known for their focus groups. Focus groups always pay well, no matter who is managing them.
If you don’t already know, focus groups are an easy way to make $100 or maybe even more for 1 to 2 hours of your time. This is one company that still holds in person focus groups.
Your Rewards
It looks like new members have to trade their points for Amazon gift cards. However, the system is still simple.
Each point is worth a cent, so it takes a hundred points to equal $1. Once you have earned $10 worth of points you can begin trading them in.
You don’t have to trade them in as soon as you reach $10 though, you can keep saving them and get a gift card that’s worth more.
What You Should Expect
You can expect to be well rewarded for your participation. The rewards may not come as cash, but that isn’t necessarily a bad thing.
This isn’t a very time-consuming panel, you’ll probably get less than 10 invitations monthly.
Most people seem to average somewhere around 5.
You probably will be happy with what you earn though, especially if you are picked for a focus group.

There are some nice things about this panel, but they aren’t one of my favorites.
I’m not saying you shouldn’t join, just that there are better survey sites out there.
Who knows, maybe you’ll be invited to a focus group and get a nice big reward right away.
